Judge Says Members’ Show Tough to Decide

The A.C.E. Member’s Art Show opened on Friday, June 7th and received many surprising, diverse entries. Our juror, Mala Setaram-Wolfe, reviewed all the 2 Dimensional and 3 Dimensional pieces and made her determination for the award winners on Saturday, June 8th. Ms. Setaram-Wolfe said she was very impressed the diversity of the pieces entered and the artistry of our members. She also said she had a very difficult time with her decision, especially on the 3 Dimensional art.

Ms. Setaram-Wolfe, is originally from Chicago. She attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and was a member of the Artist’s Cooperative Artemesia Gallery.

She exhibits regularly at the Edge Gallery in Denver and currently has an exhibition in Chicago. She has exhibited internationally for over 25 years from Iceland and Korea to Cuba and France.

Being an educator, Ms. Setaram-Wolfe also has a passion for children and serves on the board of the Colorado Academy of Educators of the Gifted, Talented and Creative. She was instrumental in getting the Arvada Public Art Ordinance passed while on the Arvada Arts Council.
