Improvisation or “Improv” is a type of live theatre in which the characters, story line, setting, and dialogue are made up on the spot. In the Pop-Up Culture Improv classes, all participants will take part in various games and exercises that will foster the basic fundamentals of improvisational comedy.

Each class, participants will learn how to improve their storytelling skills, learn techniques to think quickly on their feet, and to be more creative. This will be a spirited, fun class involving warm-up exercises, creative performance games, and basic scene work.

It will be a non-competitive and supportive approach to learning how to be more spontaneous, trusting, and cooperative all while being in a fun, creative, and welcoming atmosphere.

No experience needed! Ages 16 and up.

A portion of registration fees will be donated to The Arts Coalition of Erie.

Instructor: Pop-up Culture

Cost is $10 per class or $45 for all 5 days.
